We realize that no two people are the same and as such we tailor our therapy to meet the specific needs of our clients. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression or any other issue, we will help you recognize underlying problems, fully realize your strengths and adjust certain behaviors and thoughts to achieve a healthier future.

Our practice specializes in treating adolescents, adults, and geriatric clients. The following includes some of the areas we specialize in:

    • Individual Psychotherapy
    • Couple’s Therapy
    • Family therapy
    • Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatric Populations
    • TeleTherapy and in-person Counseling

While teletherapy offers numerous advantages, it’s important to consider the differences between teletherapy and traditional in-person therapy. Here are some points to consider when weighing the two options:

    1. Non-verbal cues: In traditional therapy, therapists can observe non-verbal cues such as body language and facial expressions. Teletherapy may limit the visibility of these cues, potentially impacting the therapeutic process. However, therapists trained in teletherapy techniques can still effectively assess and respond to non-verbal cues.
    2. Physical presence: Traditional therapy allows for a physical presence, which some individuals may find more comforting and reassuring. Teletherapy, on the other hand, offers the convenience of being able to access therapy from anywhere, eliminating the need for travel.
    3. Technology limitations: Teletherapy relies on technology, and technical issues can occasionally impact the session. It’s important to have a backup plan in case of technical difficulties and to communicate openly with your therapist if any issues arise.
    4. Suitability for different individuals: Teletherapy may be more suitable for some individuals with busier schedules as well as other limiting factors. Meanwhile, traditional in-person therapy may be preferred by individuals who look for being physically present and engaging in a face to face interactions.
